Aviv Nevo is a senior advisor for Cornerstone Research, as well as professor at University of Pennsylvania. Prior to that, he was the Robert E. and Emily King Professor of Business Institutions and Professor of Marketing at Northwestern University. His work focuses on empirical industrial organization and econometrics. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society. He was awarded a National Science Foundation Early Career Development grant, a Sloan Research Fellowship and several NSF research grants. He is a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. He is a co-editor of the RAND Journal of Economics, and previously served on the editorial boards of the Review of Economics Studies, the Journal of Industrial Economics, Quantitative Marketing and Economics, and Marketing Science. He received his BSc from Tel Aviv University, and his AM and PhD from Harvard University. He served as the Deputy Assistant Attorney General for Economic Analysis (the "chief economist") at the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice 2013-14.
