Cunzhen Huang is a special legal consultant in the District of Columbia based in the Washington, D.C. office. Ms. Huang’s practice focuses on competition/antitrust law. She also has experience in enforcement and international trade law matters. Ms. Huang joined the firm in January 2009 and rejoined in January 2013. From 2009 to 2010, she was resident in the Brussels office. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Huang did an internship in DG Competition of the European Commission and worked in the competition law department of an international law firm in Brussels and London from 2007 to 2008. Ms. Huang has published articles on competition law and worked with the ABA to provide comments to China’s antitrust agencies regarding draft rules under China’s Anti-Monopoly Law. Ms. Huang received an LL.M. degree in Law, Science and Technology from Stanford Law School in 2011, an LL.M. degree (Delta Scholarship) of Advanced Studies in European Business Law from Leiden University in 2007, and a Bachelor degree in Law (together with a Certificate of Chu Kochen Honors College), summa cum laude, from Zhejiang University in 2004. She also studied international law in Fudan University from 2004 to 2005. Ms. Huang is qualified in P.R. China. She is admitted as a Special Legal Consultant in the District of Columbia. Her native language is Mandarin Chinese, and she is fluent in English.
