Dr. Rothman is an economist with a range of expertise in antitrust economics, class certification, econometrics, industrial organization, labor economics, and statistics. He has experience in the application of economic theory, econometrics, and statistics to evaluations of market structures and competition, class certification, and estimation of overcharges, pass-through, lost profits, and damages. While at Analysis Group, Dr. Rothman has worked on a series of high-profile antitrust matters involving chemicals, computer hardware, consumer electronics, health services, pharmaceuticals, private equity, and residential mortgages. He served as a testifying expert for a defendant in In Re: Cathode Ray Tube (CRT) Antitrust Litigation. He has published research in outlets including the Journal of Competition Law & Economics, Concurrences: Competition Law Journal, the ABA Antitrust Section’s Econometrics: Legal, Practical and Technical Issues, and The Price Point, the newsletter of the ABA Section of Antitrust Law Pricing Conduct Committee. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Dr. Rothman was an assistant professor at Columbia University.
