Gary Zanfagna is Chief Antitrust Counsel and Associate General Counsel at Honeywell International Inc. Before joining Honeywell, Mr. Zanfagna was Assistant Director for Policy Planning at the Federal Trade Commission in Washington, D.C. At the Commission, he was one of the principal authors of the “Antitrust Guidelines for Collaborations Among Competitors” issued by the Commission and the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. Prior to joining the Commission, Mr. Zanfagna was an antitrust attorney with Jones Day in Washington, D.C. Mr. Zanfagna received his J.D. from the University of Virginia and his B.A. from the College of William & Mary. Mr. Zanfagna is active in the Antitrust Section of the ABA serving in various leadership positions, including most recently as the Secretary and Communications Officer of the Section. He is a frequent speaker on antitrust issues and the author of several articles on various antitrust topics.
