Jodi concentrates her practice in the areas of white collar criminal defense, government enforcement matters, and internal investigations. Jodi speaks both English and Mandarin and has advised both public and private multinational corporations on complex legal issues involving both U.S. and Chinese law. Jodi was recently featured in the in the Global Investigations Review’s “Women in Investigations 2015” series.
In China, Jodi has advised numerous multi-national companies with regard to legal and compliance issues arising from their business in Asia, including issues relating to anti-corruption laws (including the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), antitrust laws, securities laws, accounting and book-keeping standards, and other internal control rules. Her practice includes conducting internal investigations, responding to Chinese regulatory authorities’ inquiries and inspections, reporting to U.S. government regulatory authorities, and devising and implementing compliance programs.
In the U.S., Jodi has defended corporations and individuals in government investigations and other criminal and regulatory proceedings in connection with the FCPA, the False Claims Act, U.S. securities laws, and complex litigation matters.
