Remi Moncel’s practice includes corporate investigations, antitrust, international litigation, and energy and environment. Remi also maintains an active pro bono practice related to immigration and climate change law and policy. Remi joined O’Melveny with ten years of experience on international business and sustainability issues. He was a Senior Associate at the international think tank World Resources Institute in Washington, D.C. and an Advisor for BSR, a global business consultancy. In those capacities, he regularly counseled business leaders, government officials, and international institutions on the interface between business and sustainability. He has been a frequent participant in the U.N. negotiations on climate change—including the Copenhagen conference in 2009 and the Paris summit in 2015—and he launched a high-level dialogue between the United States and India composed of CEOs and former ministers from both countries. His work has been cited in prominent media outlets, including the New York Times, the Economist, Chinese Central TV, Law360, and National Public Radio.
