Ms. Susan Ning joined King & Wood in 1995. She is a Senior Partner and leads the International Trade and Antitrust & Competition Group. Since 2003 she has focused on two main areas: securing MOFCOM merger clearance for clients and advising on AML compliance issues. During which she has undertaken more than 30 antitrust merger control filings on behalf of blue-chip clients, which mostly consist of multinational corporations. Ms. Ning was also one of the earliest Chinese lawyers to practice international trade and investment law. She has been widely recognized for her international trade and investment work, which covers a wide range of issues, including antidumping, safeguards, countervailing and WTO dispute settlements. Ms. Ning has represented nearly 20 foreign entities, who have been subject to Chinese antidumping investigations. She has also represented the Chinese Government in numerous WTO dispute settlement cases. Ms. Ning’s International Trade practice also includes foreign direct investment (FDI). Her FDI clients include blue-chip, multinational corporations who have made significant investments in China.
