Ariela Stoffer is an Associate General Counsel and Global Data Privacy Counsel at John Bean Technologies Corporation (NYSE: JBT). She is specialized in commercial contracts, litigation, and design and implementation of compliance programs (covering antitrust and competition, data protection and privacy and anti-bribery and corruption). Ariela is a qualified lawyer with over 15 years of professional experience obtained in private practice as well as in-house. Earlier in her career, she worked at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where she advised numerous leading multinational corporations on antitrust, competition law and regulatory matters. After Freshfields, she worked in the legal and compliance departments of Danone S.A., a multinational FMCG company headquartered in Paris, and The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES), a Fortune 500 global power generation company headquartered in Arlington, Virginia (U.S.). Ariela is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the Institute for European Studies in Brussels. She also holds an LL.M degree in Business Law and a Master of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Leiden. In addition, she is a CIPP and CIPM certified data protection and privacy professional.
