Dr. Hans Zenger is a merger coordinator at the Chief Economist Team of DG Competition (European Commission). Prior to joining the Commission, Hans was a Vice President at CRA’s European Competition Practice in Brussels. He has led the economic analysis in a large number of phase 2 mergers and antitrust cases at the Commission and in private practice. Hans holds a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Munich and an M.Sc. in economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra (Barcelona). He has published widely on competition economics in journals such as the Antitrust Law Journal and the International Journal of Industrial Organization.
