Nicole is Global Head of Linklaters’ antitrust & foreign investment group. She has a strong and influential reputation in the market as a leading competition lawyer. With over 20 years of European and UK competition experience, Nicole has led on over 40 significant merger investigations in addition to maintaining a busy investigations and competition litigation practice. Nicole has significant experience advising sovereign backed funds, private equity houses, and pension fund investors on antitrust and foreign investment issues She has particular expertise in regulatory issues in the healthcare, financial services, retail and mining sectors. Nicole was specialist adviser to the foreign affairs committee of the UK Parliament when the National Security and Investment Act was undergoing debate. Alongside her busy merger control practice, she is a highly regarded cartel specialist, advising on global investigations by competition, financial services and other regulators, compliance issues, self-reporting and consequential litigation. Nicole also regularly advises clients on market sector investigations and studies in the EU and the UK.
