Andrew Heimert is the Counsel for Asian Competition Affairs at Federal Trade Commission based in United States. He coordinates FTC’s relationship with competition agencies in several Asian countries, works with other U.S. government agencies to develop broader intellectual property, trade, and competition policy approaches regarding China and prepares papers for International Competition Network and Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development on unilateral conduct and other topics. From May 2004 to May 2007, he served as Executive Director and General Counsel of the Antitrust Modernization Commission. Mr. Heimert holds a J.D. from Yale Law School.
