Felipe Irarrázabal Philippi is the Director of the CentroCompetencia (CeCo) of Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez and Senior Fellow of the same university. Lawyer from Universidad de Chile (highest distinction), Master in Law from Yale University, USA. and visiting scholar from Stanford University. He was appointed National Economic Prosecutor by President Piñera in 2010, and was renewed in 2014 by President Bachelet for an additional four-year term. Before assuming the position of National Economic Prosecutor, he was a partner at Philippi, Yrarrázaval, Pulido & Brunner (currently, Philippi Prietocarrizosa Ferrero DU & Uría). He also worked at Cleary, Gotlieb, Steen & Hamilton, New York, USA, as foreign associate. Since 2000, he has been a professor of Economic Analysis of Law and Competition Law at various Chilean universities. He is the author of papers on competition issues and regular columnist for El Mercurio.
