Andreea Antuca is an Economic Consultant in the digital practice and a member of the competition team at Oxera, a European business specialising in economics and finance. She has experience in public policy assessments, in particular for digital regulation, market investigations, litigation and damages estimation. She has also been involved in the debate on data access advising a number of clients from different sectors on the economic and financial issues of data sharing. She advises clients on competition economics and digital regulation. She won the International Institute of Communication 2021 Future Leaders’ Competition with a submission on ‘What principles should guide policy-makers in designing local and international approaches for internet intermediaries in the evolving communications environment?’. Before joining Oxera in 2017, Andreea completed an MPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford focusing on industrial organisation and econometrics. She also worked as a research assistant on projects ranging from impact evaluation to developing differential privacy algorithms for open data.
