Brian Ryoo is an associate in the Washington D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP. His practice focuses on antitrust matters, particularly relating to mergers and acquisitions, civil and criminal government investigations, and conduct litigation. Before joining Gibson Dunn, Mr. Ryoo served as a trial attorney in the Antitrust Division of the Department of Justice, where he played key roles in numerous merger investigations and enforcement actions. He has handled antitrust matters in a broad range of industries, including manufacturing, industrial services, online platforms, health care, pharmaceuticals, TV programming, print media, and financial services. Mr. Ryoo is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he served as an editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, and holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Ryoo is a native speaker of Korean. He is admitted to practice in the State of California and the District of Columbia.
