Dr Carsten Koenig is a postdoctoral researcher and lecturer at the University of Cologne, where he is affiliated with the Chair of Civil Law, Competition Law, Regulatory Law, Law of the Digital Economy and the Institute for Energy Law (EWIR). He is also a guest lecturer at the Freie University of Berlin, the Technical University of Berlin and the University of Goettingen. His research interests include all aspects of competition law, regulatory law (in particular energy law), the law of digital markets, corporate law theory, and law & economics. Carsten holds a PhD in law from Freie University of Berlin and an LLM from Harvard Law School. His publications in English appeared, inter alia, in the Journal of Competition Law & Economics, the European Competition Journal, the European Competition and Regulatory Law Review, and World Competition.
