Djemila is Group Senior Legal Counsel Antitrust at Novartis since 2020 and works on a wide range of transaction (M&A, divestments, BD&L deals). Previously, Djemila advised on Competition law as Director at a Compliance consulting firm and as Group Senior Legal Counsel Antitrust at ABB Asea Brown Boveri in Zurich. Prior to that, she was an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Brussels) advising on a wide range of international Antitrust and M&A cases. In 2009, she was seconded to Emirates as Group Antitrust Counsel (Dubai). Djemila was also trained at the Directorate general for competition of the European Commission (merger unit) and at the French Ministry of Economy (European merger unit). Djemila works in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.
