Elena Argentesi is Associate Professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Bologna and Senior Advisor at Lear. She teaches Competition Economics both at undergraduate and postgraduate level. She earned a Ph.D. in Economics at the European University Institute with a thesis on an empirical analysis of two-sided markets. Her research interests and publications are in industrial organization and competition policy, with a focus on empirical issues. She has done consultancy work as a technical expert for several public bodies, such as DG Competition and other competition agencies.
