Mr. Buglione is an economist whose main focus is applying econometrics and empirical analysis to competition issues, including mergers, abuse of dominance, cartel cases, market inquiries, and competition litigation matters. He has considerable experience in handling and analyzing large and complex databases to support clients in competition, regulatory, and litigation contexts. Mr. Buglione has been involved in a number of high-profile matters across a wide range of jurisdictions. These include supporting the global filings of a multibillion-dollar merger transaction in the petrochemical industry; supporting a leading global bank in the context of regulatory and antitrust inquiries in the US, Canada, the EU, China, and Japan; advising a global consumer goods company in an Italian antitrust authority inquiry into an alleged abuse of dominance in the ice cream market; and supporting a global payments technology company in a UK commercial dispute on the level of its interchange fees. Prior to joining Analysis Group, Mr. Buglione held positions at an international economics consulting firm and in the economics practice of a Big Four accounting firm.
