James Harrison is an associate in Mayer Brown’s Antitrust & Competition practice, currently seconded to the Brussels office. His experience includes advising clients in a broad range of sectors in respect of international cartel investigations, competition law compliance issues and internal investigations. James is also a member of Mayer Brown’s Public Procurement Group and advises clients in respect of UK/EU public procurement law. He also advises multinational businesses in respect of Brexit-related risks in both the antitrust and public procurement contexts, and is a regular contributor to the Mayer Brown ‘Brexit Spotlight’ podcast series. James joined Mayer Brown as a trainee in 2016, and during his training contract spent three months on secondment to the securities lending team of a global bank. As an associate, James was seconded to a major Lloyd’s managing agent for six months, where he advised on a broad range of commercial and contentious issues as part of the in-house legal team.
