Laura Liu is a partner in Baker McKenzie’s joint operation platform partner, FenXun, in Beijing. Her practice focuses on antitrust legal issues including assessing multi-jurisdictional merger control filing, antitrust compliance, antitrust investigations and antitrust litigation. Laura has extensive experience in China merger filings, having assisted numerous clients with antitrust filings before the China competition authority, including some of the most significant merger clearance cases to date. She has also advised numerous clients on complex competition compliance and advisory matters, handling dawn raids and antitrust investigations facing the China competition authority. She also has experience of dealing with China's National Security Review (“NSR”) filing, and has assisted several clients to pass the NSR in China. Laura was named as Rising Star (Antitrust & Competition) in 2020 and 2021 by Legal 500 Asia Pacific and Future Leaders (Competition) from 2019-2021 by Who's Who Legal.
