Liesbet Van Acker is a Ph.D. researcher and teaching assistant at KU Leuven, Faculty of Law, Consumer Competition Market. Under the supervision of prof. Evelyne Terryn and prof. Wouter Devroe, she is writing a PhD thesis titled ‘E-Distribution - Towards a vertical agreements framework fit for an environmentally sustainable and digital economy’. As part of the Consumer Competition Market team, Liesbet edits the CCM Blog on EU Economic Law. Liesbet obtained her Bachelor and Master of Laws at KU Leuven, graduating magna cum laude. As part of her master’s program, she studied at Queen Mary University of London for a year. She was elected to participate in the John H. Jackson WTO Moot Court, obtaining the award for best European team and best oralist in the semi-finals. She also completed a number of legal internships, e.g. with Allen & Overy, Van Bael & Bellis, and the European Commission (DG Comp).
