In her role as Consulting Editor for PaRR in China, Lisha focuses on cross-border M&A deals and policy and regulatory development in the region, with a focus on state and local regulatory agencies. Lisha joined The Mergermarket Group in September 2005, as the Bureau Chief of the Shanghai Representative Office. She is a leading authority in cross-border M&A transactions in China and has devoted the last seven years of her career looking at every aspect of M&A deal requiring regulatory approval in the region. As a result, she has developed a strong following among market participants in Asia, Europe and North America. Among the many major stories she has broken was the conditional approval by MOFCOM of Inbev/Anheuser Busch deal in 2008. She was also one of the few reporters who signaled potential problems in the Coca Cola/Huiyuan Juice deal that was consequently blocked by MOFCOM. Lisha has more than 20 years’ journalism experience, including 11 years spent at the Shanghai Securities News (SSN), where she was promoted to Senior Editor, and three years at China Daily.
