Mag. Lukas Solek is currently working as an Associate at Linklaters LLP in Brussels. Previously he worked as a Stagiaire at DG Competition (Units C 1. and 2. Antitrust in sectors Telecom and Media). Before that he worked for two years as an Associate for the international law firm Eisenberger & Herzog in Vienna, Austria where he was a member of the Competition Law Practice Group. His focus is on cartel/antitrust cases, state aid law, merger control and unfair competition law. Lukas studied law at the University of Vienna, where he currently attends the doctoral program (PhD). Due to his superior academic performance he was accepted as a member of the High Potential Program of the University of Vienna. Lukas also publishes on a regular basis and he is the founder of the renowned Competition Law Blog, kartellrechtsblog.at.
