Lukáš Tóth is a Ph.D. candidate at the Amsterdam Center for Law & Economics, working under the supervision of Prof. dr. Maarten Pieter Schinkel and Prof. dr. Jan Tuinstra. Tóth was selected as a 2015 International Scholar in Residence by the American Bar Association Section Antitrust Law, to participate as a visiting researcher with William Kovacic at George Washington University. His research project, titled Decision-Making Procedures in Competition Authorities and Optimal Institutional Design, aims at developing a political economy of publicly funded regulatory organisations by analysing them as a network of principal-agent relationships.
