Dr Marios Iacovides is an Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer) in Commercial Law at Uppsala University’s Department of Business Studies and Researcher of the Swedish Royal Society of the Letters. He is specialised in competition law and international economic law. His research focuses on the relationship between his legal fields and sustainability and the effect the Green Deal is having, and the deeper constitutional implications of goals and methods of commercial law. He has worked as a Sustainability Advisor for the Hellenic Competition Commission, as Legal Counsel for the Swedish Competition Authority and he has held various positions at other universities. He also acts as consultant (of counsel) for a boutique competition law firm in Stockholm and he has been Non-Governmental Advisor within the International Competition Network for DG COMP and the Hellenic Competition Commission.
