Nuno Cunha Rodrigues was appointed president of the Portuguese Competition Authority (AdC) in March 2023. Nuno Cunha Rodrigues holds a Bachelor (1995), Master (2003) and a Ph.D. (2012) degrees in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (FDL) - Portugal. He is an associate professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (FDL) and Vice-President of the European Institute of the FDL. He also acts as Researcher and Deputy Director of CIDEEFF (Center for Research in European, Economic, Financial and Fiscal Law) and has the title of Lawyer. He is an Editor and member of the Advisory Board of the Portuguese Journal of Competition and Regulation and a Member of the Oxford Competition Law (OCL). He has written several books and articles in the field of Competition law; EU law; Public Procurement and Economic Regulation. Nuno Cunha Rodrigues has taught in several Universities, both in Portugal and in foreign countries, and is a Holder of a Jean Monnet Module (2015-2018) and a Jean Monnet Chair, awarded by the European Commission (since 2018).
