Omar Vásquez Duque is an academic fellow at Rock Center for Corporate Governance at Stanford University. Omar Vásquez Duque is aslo working part time as co-instructor of law and economics with Professor Bruce Owen at Stanford. Omar Vásquez Duque is qualified to practice as a barrister in Chile, where he worked for the national antitrust authority, handling monopolization (abuse of dominance) cases in both unregulated and regulated markets. He has taught seminars on antitrust and law and economics at Universidad de Chile. Before starting his LL.M at Harvard, Omar spent three months at the University of Oxford Centre for Competition Law and Policy as a visiting researcher. Most recently, Omar worked as a competition expert for the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), conducting a competition assessment of the Mexican pharmaceutical sector.
