Romina Polley is a partner with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton based in Cologne where her practice focuses on German, European and ROW merger control, European and domestic cartel proceedings (including dawn raid assistance and applying for leniency), abuse of dominance proceedings including commitment decisions as well as advisory work on cooperation, distribution and licensing agreements. She also handles competition litigation before the German and European courts including follow on damages work. She has substantial experience in the chemical, consumer goods, digital markets, IT, construction, defense and automotive industries and is widely published. Ms. Polley is a lecturer on European Competition Law at the University of Cologne, a co-editor of ZWeR, a German competition law journal, and a member of the German Platform 4.0 industry’s legal working group.
