Dr. Andreas Ruster is a German qualified attorney (Rechtsanwalt). He specializes in international and domestic antitrust litigation as well as patent litigation. Dr. Ruster has gained experience representing both claimants and defendants in high profile antitrust cases. He has also been involved in patent cases in various industries (inter alia high tech, telecommunications, medical devices) after obtaining a doctorate in law summa cum laude in U.S. and European patent law. Prior to joining Quinn Emanuel, Dr. Ruster was an associate with a first tier U.S. law firm. In the course of his prior legal education, he has worked with different international law firms in Germany and in the United States.
