Roberto D. Taufick is a PhD candidate at the Law School of the University of São Paulo, where he got his bachelor’s degree. He holds a master’s degree in Law, Science and Technology from Stanford Law School and a postgraduate degree in EU Competition Law from King’s College London. He received in 2015 the Gregory Terrill Cox Summer Research Fellowship to follow the John M. Olin Program in Law and Economics at Stanford University. He is US Federal Trade Commission’s first international fellow according to the Safe Web Act of 2006. Between 2018-2019, he was awarded at least three of the most prestigious national awards in antitrust law in Brazil, including the first prize in the Ibrac-Tim contest. He has authored several articles and a textbook on antitrust, whose last edition was published by Almedina in 2017 (734pp).
