Tommy Forr is an antitrust attorney, advising companies on all antitrust aspects of mergers and acquisitions, federal and state government investigations, and day-to-day business practices. He has extensive experience before the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and state AGs.Tommy has helped obtain merger clearance for more than 20 M&A matters, including some of the largest of the past decade, such as AT&T’s $67 billion acquisition of DIRECTV. He has advised clients in numerous industries including health care, retail, energy, hospitality, chemicals, transportation, and telecommunications.Tommy also gained substantial experience practicing as an in-house lawyer while on a yearlong secondment (2017-2018) with the competition law group of General Electric, where he worked on a wide variety of antitrust counseling, compliance, and transactional matters across the globe.Tommy has litigated several pro bono cases, achieving favorable verdicts in a criminal jury trial and administrative law hearings, working with public defenders and homeless outreach organizations.
