Tiffany Lee is Counsel at Perkins Coie in the Seattle’s office. With Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and state attorney general experience, Tiffany Lee represents clients in antitrust, consumer protection, and privacy matters, including investigations, federal and state court actions, premerger clearance activities, merger investigations, government conduct investigations, and compliance counseling. She regularly develops and executes overarching strategies for litigation and regulatory matters. Tiffany also prepares and presents trainings on various antitrust issues, including international antitrust compliance, federal antitrust statutes, and state antitrust and unfair competition laws. Previously, Tiffany served as an assistant attorney general for the state of Washington, where she represented the state in high-profile investigations and federal and state court actions involving data breach, privacy, consumer protection, and false advertising, including serving as lead attorney on several multistate investigations. She served as the lead negotiator for a historic $10 million 30-state HIPAA settlement, litigated Washington’s first data notice case, challenged the Federal Communications Commission’s net neutrality rollback, and brought the state’s first anti-pyramid promotional act litigation. She also advised state clients on a multitude of technology issues, including artificial intelligence (AI), cryptocurrency, net neutrality, and privacy. Prior to joining the attorney general’s office for Washington, Tiffany was a member of another law firm’s global antitrust practice, where she advised clients on a wide range of U.S. and international antitrust issues and developed overarching global competition strategy. Tiffany also worked for the Anticompetitive Practices Division of FTC as well as the Office of International Affairs.
