Winand Emons is a professor of Economic Theory at the University of Bern based in the Swiss capital since April 1992. Previously, he was an assistant at the University of Basel from 1988 to 1992 and a visiting Scholar at the University of California in San Diego in 1987. His researches focus on the Economics of uncertainty and information, Industrial organization, and Law and economics. He received “Habilitation” at the University of Basel in 1990 and haas also completed a doctorate at the University of Bonn.
