Anne Catherine Faye is Vice President at Analysis Group’s office in Montreal. Ms. Faye applies her background and analytical skills in economics and finance to solve complex issues in litigation and business matters. She has worked on a variety of engagements involving allegations of anticompetitive behavior and other antitrust matters, intellectual property disputes, securities and finance-related litigation, and public policy issues. In antitrust matters, Ms. Faye has analyzed allegations of market abuse and anticompetitive practices in many different industries, including banking, retail gasoline, and polyurethane manufacturing. In intellectual property matters, she has evaluated assertions of patent infringement in the pharmaceutical and technological industries. In finance matters, she has assessed claims of misinformation, price manipulation, and insider trading on US and European stock exchanges. Ms. Faye has consulted with numerous clients in the US and Canada and has assisted expert witnesses in depositions, trials, and administrative proceedings. She has supported academic and industry experts in their evaluation of litigation claims and their development of well-grounded rebuttal and affirmative arguments. She has also assisted counsel and clients in all phases of the litigation process, including discovery, expert reports, deposition, and trial preparation. Ms. Faye’s recent casework includes estimating royalties for the reproduction of musical works in various media, evaluating the merits of class certification claims in a financial matter, and analyzing the market for structured finance securities and the effects of the 2008 global financial crisis.
