Barbara is currently a second-year law student at the George Washington University Law School. She holds a B.A. in Economics and a B.A. in Professional Writing from Carnegie Mellon University. Barbara serves as a Member of The George Washington University International Law Review, where she sits on both the Articles Selection Committee and the Symposium Committee. Her student Note explores privacy implications of regulating data through antitrust law in the European Union. Barbara’s primary interests lie within the field of antitrust law. She serves as Co-President of the Antitrust Law Association at the George Washington University Law School and currently interns at the Federal Trade Commission. She will begin as a Summer Associate at Axinn, Veltrop, & Harkrider in May 2020. She is also passionate about public interest work; Barbara has been involved in the Landlord-Tenant, Family Law, and Animal Welfare pro bono projects. Before law school, she worked as an investigative intern for the Office of the Public Defender in Rockville, Maryland.
