Enrique Sanjuán is Senior Judge in the Court of Appeal of Málaga (Business and Commercial matters) and associated professor at University of Malaga (Competition, Bankruptcy and Corporate businesses). He is doctor in Law (PhD with extraordinary prize in his study on Business Restructuring and insolvency protection). He has a Law Degree from the University of Granada, Graduate in Business Administration and Management from the Antonio de Nebrija University (Madrid) and Graduate in Economic from the Catholic University of Avila. He has also a master in Art of Economic by National University of Spain and a master in financial engineering (financial analyst) by UNED. In relation to the Competition, he has been developing works in the last years that have led him to participate in the judicial training conducted by the European Academy (ERA) in Lisbon (Portugal) and Melbourne (Australia); the latter organized by the Global Antitrust International, University of Melbourne and George Mason University of USA. He has also carried out studies related to the subject matter in Higher School of Economics in National Research University of Russia (Neuroeconomics: How the Brain Makes Decisions), Contract Law (Harvard University), Microeconomics Principles (University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign), Corporate Finance Essentials (IESE Business School), Introduction to American Law (University of Pennsylvania), Financial Markets (Yale University), European Business Law: Competing in Europe (Lund University of Sweden) and various courses in EUIPO on intellectual property, trademarks, patents and industrial design. He has recently done training in the High Court in London and in different courts in Paris and Colmar and has participated in the workshop on the Role of the Judiciary in Bank Resolution for Judges in Kiev (Ukraine) with the Financial Sector Advisory Center (FinSAC) of the World Bank Group.
