Miranda Cole is a partner in Covington’s Brussels office. With a broad competition practice, Miranda has helped a broad range of companies with transactional and behavioural matters for over 20 years. She focuses her practice on mergers, acquisitions and other transactions, abuse of dominance, vertical and collaborative arrangements, technology transactions (including issues relating to IP and interfaces, including access, standardisation, remuneration and interoperability), and issues related to information exchange and data. Miranda regularly represent clients in the technology, communications, media, software, aviation, life sciences, and ecommerce and other Internet-related sectors. She has recently advised on technology transactions for Facebook (Meta), Microsoft, Verizon, Renesas, Qualcomm, and the Walt Disney Group, and life sciences transactions, divestitures and collaborative arrangements for AstraZeneca, MSD, Sanofi, BMS, Illumina, UCB, GlaxoSmithKline, and Emergent BioSolutions.
