Paul R. Zimmerman is an economist in the Bureau of Economics at the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC). From 2000-2006 he was an economist with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC). In 2015 he served as Consultant on American Antitrust Economics at the U.K. Competition and Markets Authority (CMA). He maintains an active research agenda and has published several articles on antitrust economics, the economics of crime, and telecommunications economics. He also teaches regularly in the applied economics master’s programs at Georgetown University and Johns Hopkins University.
