Based on published enforcement decisions through May 2018, the article provides a quantitative study to apportion antitrust fines in China to a number of aggravating and mitigating factors specified in China’s Draft Fining Guidelines, as well as to test a number of other potential factors that might influence the severity of fines issued by Chinese antitrust agencies.
