Click here to read the full article onlineOn January 30, 2019, Nigeria joined the ranks of countries with a competition regime upon the enactment of the FCCPA. This came 17 years after the first idea for a competition law was touted in Nigeria in December 2002. 1 This article will critical appraise the general provisions of the FCCPA with the aim of making a case for a further legislative intervention in these areas of concern, and conclude with recommendations.
