To provide an overview of global developments to date which shows “at a glance” the intensity of COVID-related authority and government activity, the BCLP Antitrust & Competition team has created four “Tracker Maps” for this article which track and summarise key points of government and authority action in the areas of antitrust and merger control globally and State aid in the EU. This article provides further context and elaboration of the points noted in the Tracker Maps.
