Competition advocacy and communication strategy

This document has been prepared by Lear for the Albanian Competition Authority (ACA) as part of the project “Capacity Building for the ACA” financed by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). The project aims at strengthening ACA’s advocacy role in the country as well as the skills and competencies of its officials and case handlers. The objective of the present document is the development of a long term Competition Advocacy Strategy (hereinafter, the Strategy) for the ACA with the goal of improving the effectiveness of its advocacy efforts towards a variety of stakeholders, such as consumers, businesses community and government entities. Such heterogeneity in targets of advocacy initiatives calls for a tailored approach.
