These guidelines are aimed at ensuring the respondent’s right to defense and protecting the trade secrets of the person who submitted evidence to the Korea Fair Trade Commission (hereinafter referred to as the “KFTC”), while also securing fairness and transparency in the KFTC’s deliberation process by specifying the procedures for accessing evidence pursuant to Article 52-2 of the “Monopoly Regulation and Fair Trade Act” (hereinafter referred to as the “Act”).
