My paper concerns the application of the European Market Definition Notice in order to define the online attention market. Therefore, it addresses three topics. First, the product of attention and the traders of attention, the attention platforms, are introduced. Subsequently, the inadequacies that arise in defining the product market are discussed, and adjustment are suggested. Finally, an outline of the online attention market will be provided.
