In this alert, we "provide quick-fire responses to the top five questions that have been on everyone’s lips" in respect of the new European and UK vertical distribution laws. The aim is to equip GCs and sales teams with a practical guide which demystifies a highly technical area of law and distils the major developments that will matter most to their businesses. We adopted a conversational style and structure to ensure this was accessible and engaging to all levels of the business involved in product sales. It was a joint effort prepared by lawyers from across our EU and UK competition law team (representing the UK, Germany, Belgium, Italy, France and others) to ensure we both captured the cultural nuances and priorities of businesses across key territories, as well as flagged where a national authority might diverge in an important area.
