The European Commission ("Commission") has adopted new Guidelines on State Aid for Climate, Environmental Protection and Energy ("CEEAG"). The CEEAG revise criteria that the Commission will now apply to determine whether EU Member State financing to private companies in the field of climate, environmental protection, and energy is compatible with EU law.
